You’ll gain valuable insight into how delays in these skills can impact learning, and more importantly, how to effectively support learners in mastering the five core mathematical competencies:

• Operational Fluency – Strengthening confidence and accuracy in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Spatial Awareness – Developing the ability to recognise, interpret, and work with shapes and patterns
• Measurement Concepts – Exploring key ideas such as length, weight, time, and volume
• Problem-Solving Abilities – Empowering learners to apply mathematical thinking in meaningful, real-life contexts

As this is a 5-day face-to-face course, you will need to arrange a substitute teacher for your class. The CTLI will cover the cost of the substitute.
