Are you prepared to guide your learners through the evolving landscape of the South African education system? Join us for an essential 90-minute deep dive into the Three-Stream Model, designed specifically for educators across Mainstream schools, Schools of Skills, and Special schools, Technical Schools / All schools offering the Three Streams Model 

As we move toward a more inclusive and skill-oriented future, understanding the shift from traditional academic paths to Vocational and Occupational streams is vital for every educator. This session will provide the clarity and policy grounding needed to support diverse learner needs effectively.

Led by expert presenters from Directorate Inclusive and Specialised Education Support (DISES) and Directorate FET, this webinar will focus on three critical pillars:

 

  • Orientation to the Three-Stream Model: Gain a clear understanding of the purpose, structure, and long-term goals of the Occupational Stream.
  • Pathways to Success: Learn how to differentiate between the Academic, Vocational, and Occupational pathways to better advise your learners.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure your school is aligned with DBE guidelines, the GEC (General Education Certificate), and current inclusive education frameworks.
