Applicants must teach in:
Intermediate Phase (Grades 4-6)
General Requirements:
Basic computer literacy.
About this Course
Note: The computer lab can only accomodate 35 teachers, so applications will be on a first come first serve basis.
This blended course focusses on the Integration of Natural Sciences into Coding and Robotics in the Intermediate phase with the use of Micro:bits and the Scratch coding application.
The course consists of the following:
* Day 1-4: Online Moodle. Self-paced module. Participants will be required to do a pre-test and a task.
* Day 5 from 15:00-18:00- and Saturday 8:00-14:30 : face-to-face session at the CTLI in Kuilsrivier.
* Day 6-18: Finish the post-test & feedback form (online) to qualify for a certificate.
