Measurement in Grades 4–7 Mathematics (fully Self-paced Online Course)
This course forms part of the learner recovery programme and addresses all aspects of the Annual Teaching Plan (ATP) for Grades 4–7 Mathematics.
In this self-paced online course, you will explore effective strategies to support learners in understanding key Measurement concepts.
The course on Measurements in Mathematics is structured into six comprehensive modules, each focusing on key aspects and misperceptions of teaching measurements. The modules are designed to build upon one another, guiding educators through a logical progression of concepts and strategies.
Module 1: Length
Module 2: Perimeter and Area 2D and 3D objects
Module 3: Volume and Capacity
Module 4: Mass
Module 5: Time
Module 6: Temperature
Together, these modules provide a comprehensive framework for educators to enhance their teaching of measurements, ensuring that learners develop a strong, conceptually grounded understanding of mathematics.
You will be guided through the content and activities which you must complete.
There are no live sessions. You may complete the course in your own time and at your own pace within the three-week window provided.

As this is an audit course, you will be required to submit the following documents:
