Applicants must teach in:
Intermediate Phase (Grades 4-6) OR Senior Phase (Grades 7-9)
About this Course
This 10-day face-to-face workshop will concentrate on all aspects related to the writing process and how to assess writing in Grades 4-7.
Using the transactional method, teachers are guided through writing methodology using graphic organisers and different types of texts.
The creative Writing project as given in the new ATP for term 2 and 3, is also explained and how to start your own writing workshop.
Note that you need to have a substitute in your class for the duration of the course that the WCED will pay via the CTLI appointment.
As this is an audit course, you will be required to complete an MOU.
